Player Phil Hall, 'philthy' to his mates, in the centre of Napier 1975.
In-camera pic, no photoshop! by Paul Moss. We were on tour with Airwaves
playin at the DB Awapuni Tavern, there were only two venues at the time,
the other was Billies' Cabana.Hotel. Phil later became the bass player
for Sardine V, Dropbears, Lime Spiders, and guitarist for Pink Slips,
(w Mike Caan) even later got his Phd in linguistics!! at Sydney University.
His myspacee is PhilYes
I'll always remember that show at Sweethearts out west when the band
stopped and the drummer kept goin.. I was watching a video recording
and looked up to see all hell break loose on stage, breakfast at sweethearts
indeed..Phil created the first
punk band in Hamilton, NZ, called 'Woolworfs' playing at the Lady Hamilton
and at Fairfield College with Captain PJ's disco, lightshow, and pyrotechnics.
